Tell us about some of your favorite runs?

Well, I've been lucky to live in some great cities for running and I've enjoyed some iconic go-to runs. I'm a creature of habit so once I settle into a particular run then its rinse-and-repeat for me. I'd say my top 5 are:
1. Richmond Park, London
2. Central Park, New York City
3. Marin Headlands, San Francisco
4. Djurgården, Stockholm
5. Serra de Collserola, Barcelona

Are you a shoe loyalist?

Until recently I'd been running in Newton Motions and must have been through a dozen pairs. I liked the lightweight feel but I needed more grip for trails so now I'm trying out the Hoka One ATR 6. Loving it so far.

Are you a social runner or happier with your headphones?

I love to run with other people - I find that being able to chat helps the miles go by and moderates the pace pretty well. And if my running buddy can show me new routes then that's icing on the cake.
I'm also happy to run solo although I ditched the headphones a few years back. I prefer to have the sounds of my surroundings as a backdrop to my own thoughts as I run.

What's your running mantra?

All miles are good miles!
